Arts House June Wedding (Azhari & Izyan)

This June, we styled the wedding of a beautiful couple, Azhari and Izyan.
Warm, easy going and real, they had this vision of an intimate nostalgic wedding -
one that would rekindle fond memories of those innocent childhood days,
and one that would be intimately celebrated with family and close friends.
They chose The Arts House as their event venue, and we thought that was just perfect!

This time round, we decided to incorporate both masculine and feminine elements into the styling, creating a rustic whimsical theme.

We mixed our classy gold chiavaris, sleek french lamposts,
and soft silk drapes with vintage props

See how this old bicycle and rattan basket upped the nostalgia a few notches higher?

Exorbitant blooms, classy chiavaries, kampung lamps, and Mariah & Sham made 'batu serembat', making a unique centrepiece and bold statement.

Introducing our new prop....
Instead of our usual couple monogram,
we decided to spice up the reception area with a personalised chalkboard.
Here's the centrepiece again :)
And yes who wouldn't remember those good 'ol typewriting days?

Keeping up with the current craze, we prepared props for the guests' photography isle too....

And of course, since our couples always get our
customised momentos to remember their wedding by,
Azhari and Izyan got theirs too..... in the form of our personalised vintage cushions.

And then, we designed a classy yet fun candy isle for their guests.

We created a mom and pop 'shop'.....
because really, nothing else could bring out the inner child better
than that perfect visit to a candy store!

Kacang Putih, the great gatsby way....

Guests were pampered with haw flakes and meringue biscuits,
one of the many big favourites in the 80's

Not forgetting the marvellous Hiro Choc Cake

And the addictive bee bee snacks

In keeping with our couple's warm and authentic wedding atmosphere,
we made them a simple, real and innocent mini cake, for that simple indulgence.

And finally, some behind the scene photos of our artists and crew working and playing.....

That's all for june!
Now moving on to our upcoming projects.
Expect to see our styling at Burkill Hall, The Fullerton Hotel,
Hort Park, Arts House, Serangoon CC and SIA Sports Club soon.

As always, special thanks to all our crew and apprentices :)
