Cupcake Toppers

Another way of cleverly dressing up delicious cupcakes is by using toppers! And I am delighted to introduce great new toppers designed and produced by Haz Workz. His design spans all 'genres' - from cool to elegant to masculine....cos really, cupcakes dont always have to just be cute and pretty!

He is collaborating with Mariah & Sham to produce designs which are complementary to our isle themes and such...but should you visit his blog, you'll be able to place topper orders for your own cupcakes or even muffins for that matter. By the way, he is also a personalised stationery specialist...so yup you can order those too....

So anyway, you can bake your own cupcakes or muffins, spread some nutella (or icing - for the more initiated ones :)) and add some toppers (with our matching cupcake wrappers, perhaps) for a great and fuss free presentation. Just be sure to harmonize the whole "look" though. That's the fun part!

This way, you can have your delicious cakes and eat'em too...

Assortment

We love assortments!

We came up with a couple of label designs for our client and - like always - couldnt decide which one to use.
So we used all, like always....

End product: 4 different labels on our white take-away boxes, then adorned with black and white ribbons. Pics will follow soon, seeing that I'm a little bit under the weather lately.

In the meantime, here are the 4 designs.....

Xmas

This year, Hazrin decided to give personalized presents to his maternal nieces and nephews for Xmas...

He's always been very involved in our projects, but he's never really designed anything for us thus far. This time round however, probably inspired to chart his own name, he decided to design a new line of personalized stationeries.

With the resources available, he painstakingly worked on his project...and in the process, helped increase our pool of resources too.

I must admit, I've never fully realized this potential of his before, and am pleasantly surprised by what I discovered....

We now have a new designer on board, and that can be nothing but advantageous for Mariah & Sham :)

So, here's introducing his excellent work...

He even prepared the packaging box for the personalized notebook and pencil...

For the young adult cousins, he gave them something chic...

For the aunts, uncles and married cousins, he gave them the newly designed Mariah & Sham favors...

And finally, for the newest member of the clan - Baby Deborah, a Mariah & Sham gift set....

Hope they love the gifts!

New design by Sham

Now that the hols are in, I had a bit more time coming up with a new design for Mariah & Sham.
See I'm a fan of chandeliers....and I've always loved stationeries with chandelier silhouttes...but nothing, I thought, beats designing my own silhouette.

So I basically plonked myself down at my worktable, and spent two days designing the silhoutte out of my own chandelier - which I bought almost 8 years ago, from Laura Ashley.
Apart from its sentimental values, I love my chandelier's sheer simplicity and charm...

So voila! The diagram below is my 2 days' worth of work, and this will be our basic silhouette, which we intend to use in our new line of favors and stationeries

Below is one of our Dessert Menus which we are using the design for...and this menu will be transformed into a canvas painting, to be displayed at the Dessert Buffet Table....along with the matching invites, placecards, favors, and cake of an upcoming event.

Introducing our very own....

This collection showcases our custom-designed cake box favors in a romantic blue theme.

The "designer cake" favors are popular for their dual purposes.
While designed to be presented as a cake, each "slice" of cake also doubles up as a favor.
Individually wrapped cake slices, sweet treats or the likes, can be placed in each box...
No cutting mess, and definitely a delight for the guests..

We also have our popular chinese takeaway box all dressed up in white, blue and silver.

A new addition to our favor collection will be the mini white pails...seen here in white and blue. And lucky for us, the M&Ms for this Easter season came in coordinating blue too :)

And for a more inviting and personal reception, we have also designed a matching blue place card, inviting guests to "Please Take One" favor.

While each favor exudes its own unique charm, the combination of favors, all designed and arranged in coordination, elicit a richness of texture and a more interesting reception.
